Contest Rules
Tell us YOUR story... get chosen ... win a home! Become a contestant and enter
for the opportunity of a lifetime!
In order to be eligible to win a property each contestant will need to pay a
$100 entry fee and write your story to answer the question:
How would winning a home CHANGE your life?
Once the number of entries needed for a contest is achieved the contest will close
and YOUR story will be reviewed by a panel of judges based on who they think will
benefit winning the home and writing skills (visit FAQs). Enter as many times as
you want with a different story. Easily pay online thru a secure server.
After your payment is complete you will receive a confirmation email receipt with a
Transaction Number. You will also get an email with options on how to submit your
story. You will have the choice of sending your story by email or by following a link
and submitting your story through a website form. Instructions will be emailed
following your payment. Email info@contestforchange.com with any questions.
All registrations and credit card payment transactions related to participation in any
contest shall also be governed by the Contest Facilitation Agreement available for
your review at http://www.acteva.com/pba/38908/cfa and incorporated herein for all
purposes.

Tips on a well written story:
Major Areas of Interest:
- Style
- Organization
- Errors (grammar, format, etc.)
Style:
- Can the average reader easily understand what you are saying?
- Does your introduction catch your readers’ attention?
- Are your thoughts clear and concise?
- Does your story "flow"?
- Can your story hold the interest of your audience?
Organization:
- Do the sentences flow logically?
- Does your paper include smooth transitions into each paragraph?
- Have you grouped like information together in the same paragraph or section?
- Can you sum up each paragraph in one sentence?
Common Errors:
- Have you carefully read through your Story checking for correct capitalization, and punctuation?
Errors—some tips for avoiding them:
- Proofread your own work! (Reading aloud will make errors even more obvious.)
- Have a friend or family member look your Story over.
